AJ Fratto is a Geneva, New York–born U.S. Navy veteran whose distinguished service includes roles as a helicopter rescue swimmer, recruiter, and crew chief number 1 for the elite Blue Angels flight demonstration team After deployments in Northern, Central and Southern Arabian Gulf, Operation Desert Fox and Desert Thunder, Operation Allied Force Northern and Southern Watch, European Conflicts and the Global War on Terroism etc., Fratto transitioned from military life into music, stepping in as the persona of the “American Soldier” on Queensrÿche’s American Soldier album and touring with the band—an opportunity he calls a dream come true
